(KSL News) Former Utah Gov. Michael Leavitt says the recently passed economic stimulus bill could lead to the financial downfall of the nation.
Speaking this weekend at a meeting of the National Governors Association, Leavitt said he sees parallels between the current situation in the U.S. and the economic troubles that brought about the crash of Argentina's financial system.
Leavitt also said that governors need to take actions to secure health care systems in their states.
Leavitt's most recent position was that of Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Bush.
