(KSL News) Officials broke ground for a new jet manufacturing and assembly facility in Ogden today.
Adam Aircraft planns to build a 96-thousand square foot facility, which will provide 430 new jobs.
"The skill sets associated with composite fabrication layout, the sub-assembly, the final assembly with airplanes is a natural for this area. So we're very excited about being able to get the workforce in this area."
The new facility will be built near Ogden's Hinckley Airport and the Kemp Ogden Gateway Center.
Utah Governor John Huntsman says manufacturing businesses are crucial to Utah's economy.
