(KSL News) An Ogden woman accused of kidnapping her 14-year-old girlfriend has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
In court yesterday, Ana Rita Avalos, 22, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of attempted unlawful sexual activity with a minor and sheltering a runaway. In exchange, a charge of kidnapping against her was dropped.
Avalos and the teen from Ogden ran away together last month. They were found in St. George after an Amber Alert was issued.
