(KSL News) The woman first accused of abducting a 14-year-old Ogden girl is now facing charges in the case, but they're not kidnapping charges.
The Deseret News reports Weber County prosecutors are charging Ana Avalos, 22, with a felony count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor. She's also charged with sheltering a runaway.
Reyna Santelices was reported missing on Friday, Jan. 16. Police say Santelices' father woke up after midnight and discovered his daughter was not home. She had left a note saying she was choosing her own lifestyle and she wanted to go out on her own and that she "needed to do what she needed to do."
An Amber Alert was issued around 6 a.m.
She was found near St. George around 7:30 a.m.
