(KSL News) A missionary serving in the South Africa, Durban mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has died.
Elder Jason Fry of Silverdale, Washington was hiking in a popular scenic area with a few other missionaries when he lost his footing and fell down an embankment.
Emergency crews tried to revive him at the scene but were unsuccessful.
Elder Fry had been in the mission field for five months.
