(KSL News) Police are searching for three people who robbed a man traveling through Utah and stranded him at a hotel.
They say the man was on his way to California on a Greyhound bus and stopped in Salt Lake for the night around midnight. He befriended a man who offered him a place to stay.
But when they went outside the bus station, a car with two people inside pulled up and all three forced the victim into the car at gunpoint.
They drove him to the Comfort Inn at 200 N. Admiral Byrd Rd. (5480 West) and then robbed him of his luggage.
