(KSL News) A fire at a Salt Lake apartment building near 500 East and 100 South forced the evacuation of more than a dozen people this morning.
Fire officials say the blaze started near a water heater in the basement of the building and spread to the eaves under the first floor.
At least two units suffered fire and smoke damage. Residents were allowed back in after the fire was out.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
