(KSL News) -- Harmons shoppers will begin to see fresh bagged spinach reintroduced on produce shelves.
The Food and Drug Administration has partially lifted its ban on fresh, bagged spinach.
The FDA orginally banned spinach after an E. coli outbreak linked to the leafy green. Federal investigators traced the outbreak to Natural Selection Foods.
Officials still warn consumers not to eat spinach bagged by Natural Selection or any companies it supplied. That includes the Dole brand.
However, other brands are now considered safe. The Harmon's grocery store plans to start selling fresh bagged spinach provided by Popeye Spinach company, on Monday.
