(KSL News) Police arrested two people who allegedly robbed a car at a downtown Salt Lake hotel.

Police say it started at the Red Lion Hotel at 161 W. 600 South. The victim walked into the parking lot around 1 a.m. to find a man and woman in his car rummaging through his belongings. He confronted them, and the man told the victim he had a gun.

The two took off, and police found them several blocks away at 640 S. West Temple with the victim's cell phone, as well as papers from his car.
The suspects, identified as 28-year-old Levi Collins and 26-year-old Misty Angell, were booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for robbery.
