(KSL News) -- Today Sheriff's deputies are searching for a second man who was with the suspect that led police on a multi-county manhunt.

Because of an on-going investigation authorities will not release the name of the second man. What they will tell us is that both he and Donald Propst are suspects in a string of burglaries that happened last weekend in East Canyon.

Also, we are told both are wanted in Salt Lake and Box Elder Counties for similar crimes.

Wednesday night Propst went fishing with the other man at Weber Basin. When a deputy asked them for their ID's they fled the scene.

Propst was caught, the other man was not.

Propst had warrants out for his arrest for parole, burglary, drug and traffic violations.
