(KSL News) Though the holidays have come and gone, the winter weather isn't looking to leave anytime soon. But with some help from Hill Airforce Base, some of Utah's homeless veterans now have a way to stay warm.
Military trucks rolled into Salt Lake's VA Hospital this morning filled with important cargo. Members of the 729th Air Control Squadron unloaded over 600 coats and other items for those who need some extra help fighting the cold this year.
The items were collected during a special coat drive that ran from December through last week.
