(KSL News) The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office is now investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened over the weekend in front of a night club.
Salt Lake City police say a man opened fire outside Bliss nightclub after a fight with another group of people. Family members identified the man as 19-year-old Hussein Al-Rekabi.

Police say a patrolling officer in the area heard gun shots and drove to the scene. They say there was an armed confrontation and the officer shot Al-Rekabi at least once.
Al-Rekabi fled in his car but crashed into a light pole and fire hydrant a block away. He died on scene.
Two others were injured during the initial shooting.
Police aren't releasing the name of the officer involved, but say he's a veteran now on paid leave. The Salt Lake City Police Department says it's also conducting an internal investigation.
