Funeral services will be held today for a Bountiful teenager killed in a skiing accident last week. Her family is reflecting on her life.

Michael Pysnak tells KSL his sister, Megan, was an example to the entire family, even at her young age of 15.

"We, as a family, are striving to follow her example and express unconditional love to those around us, like she did," he said. He also said there were a lot of students who indicated she'd go out of her way to speak to those who sometimes were ignored.

He says, of course, the family is going to miss her deeply. He says she was very bright and outgoing. She was an outstanding student with a 34 ACT score and a perfect grade point average.

Pysnak was separated from her family while skiing at Alta Wednesday afternoon. Investigators say she was found head down in the well of a pine tree, her upper body buried in snow.

She died the next morning.
