OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Kellen McCoy and Daviin Davis scored 18 points apiece to lead Weber State to a 71-55 win over Montana on Saturday night.
Damian Lillard added 17 points for the Wildcats (10-8, 4-1 Big Sky), who were 24-of-30 from the free throw line.
Montana (9-9, 3-3) took an early lead, but Weber State went on a 16-2 run during a five-minute span to take an 18-11 lead with 8:31 remaining in the first half. Lillard started the stretch with a 3-pointer, and the Wildcats kept the lead the rest of the way.
Weber State took its largest lead, 62-43, on a layup by Lillard with 5:32 remaining in the game. The Grizzlies answered with eight straight points in less than two minutes to cut the lead to 62-51 but it wasn't enough.
Anthony Johnson scored 21 points and Jack McGillis added 16 for Montana, which shot 15-of-21 from the free throw line.
