(KSL News) A man is in critical condition tonight after being hit and dragged by a TRAX train. It happened at the TRAX station at 250 S. Main Street in Salt Lake.
Witnesses say the man was sitting on a bench and leaned forward just as the train approached the station. The train hit him and knocked him down, catching his leg underneath it. He was then dragged a short distance until the train could come to a stop.
Police say the man suffered severe head and leg injuries and was transported to University Hospital.
