The frozen body of a Salt Lake man was found just outside his home this morning.
Around 9:00 this morning, the owner of Swedin Tree Experts at 3484 W. 900 South found the body Eldon Urban, 85, frozen in the snow.
Salt Lake police Detective Dennis McGowan says the man was found fully clothed and wrapped in a blanket near a trailer where he had been living.
Police say the body was covered in snow and had been outdoors for some time.
"What prompted him to walk outside and ultimately collapse next to the trailer is unclear. The medical examiner is going to recover that by doing an autopsy," McGowan said.
Police say there are no signs of foul play. The property owner was friends with the man and had allowed him to stay there in the trailer.
