(KSL News) -- A maintenance worker is in critical condition after a serious electric shock.
The man was working on a water line when the accident happened. He was using a track hoe to lower pipes into a trench when he recieved a shock from overhead powerlines.
Co-workers performed CPR until crews arrived and the man was flown to the hospital.
Officials are investigating to see if the track hoe actually touched the line, or if the electricity jumped from the line to the machinery.
