(KSL News) Warren Jeffs will be allowed to wear civilian clothes in his next court appearance.
The Deseret Morning News is reporting that Jeffs' lawyers filed papers requesting he be allowed to wear civilian clothes.
They say Jeffs' jail uniform could hurt his chances for a fair trial and negatively influence the potential jury pool.
Jeffs will now be represented by at least three lawyers-- Wally Bugden and Tara Isaacson from Salt Lake, and Richard Wright from Las Vegas.
Wright filed papers seeking permission to practice law in Utah for this case even though he is not certified in this state.
Tomorrow, Jeffs will be transported to the courthouse for a scheduling hearing.
