ERDA, Tooele County — Authorities have identified two men in their 60s who were killed in a Tooele County crash on Wednesday.

A Chevy Corvette turning left from Parachute Lane onto state Route 179 turned in front of a northbound semitruck that was not hauling a trailer. The semi crashed into the Corvette, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden said.

The 66-year-old driver of the Corvette was identified Friday as Robert Chato Rainwater, of Tooele, and the 65-year-old passenger as Alan Boyd Anderson, also of Tooele, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.

The driver of the semi was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
