(KSL News) A man with 24 warrants out for his arrest is finally in jail after leading police on an uphill foot chase through Provo Canyon.

Police say Matthew Zelazny was trying to steal a camera from an Orem Best Buy when an officer approached him. Zelazny threw the camera and took off.
Officers later spotted his car in Provo Canyon and tried to pull him over, but he took off. Zelazny then abandoned his car and began running on foot.
It took about ten officers to catch him. He and Misty Stagg, who was also in his car, were booked in the Wasatch County jail on charges including possession of stolen property.
