SEVIER, Sevier County — A man was killed when a semitruck crashed and rolled on I-70 in Sevier County Tuesday morning, according to state troopers.

The crash occurred just after 6 a.m. on westbound I-70 just west of Sevier, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. Traffic was closed in both directions for a couple of hours, but had reopened as of 9:45 a.m., according to UDOT.

"Hazmat is responding because it's leaking fuel into the creek," said UHP Sgt. Mike Alexander.

Officials have not released the identity of the person who was killed.
