EDEN, Weber County — A driver died and a passenger was seriously injured Monday in a rollover crash near Powder Mountain Resort.

About 8:12 a.m., a commercial vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder of a dirt road near a construction site and rolled. First responders started CPR on the 31-year-old driver at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead.

The name of the driver, from Salt Lake City, has not yet been released.

The 26-year-old passenger, a Tooele resident, was flown to a local hospital.

Additional details about the crash have not been released.
