Motorcyclist killed in Summit County crash

KIMBALL JUNCTION, Summit County — A motorcyclist was killed Friday evening in a three-vehicle crash in Summit County, troopers said.

The crash happened on eastbound I-80 between Jeremy Ranch and Kimball Junction at 5:33 p.m., said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Davies Sanchez.

Two of the vehicles involved in the crash were SUVs. The third was a motorcycle. Its rider died from injuries sustained in the crash, Sanchez said. He did not say whether anyone else was injured in the crash, nor did he say what caused it.
