Arizona woman dies days after multivehicle crash in Rich County

WOODRUFF, Rich County — A woman has died days after she and seven other people were injured in a multivehicle accident on state Route 16 at Reed Lane, south of Woodruff, in Rich County.

The woman, Ashley Siffring, 39, from Flagstaff, Ariz, was critically injured in the crash and died Thursday at a Utah hospital, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

The accident involved several vehicles and required an extrication, according to the Rich County Sheriff's Office.

Ambulances and medical helicopters were at the scene in addition to paramedics, firefighters and police officers.

Details about what caused the crash were not immediately available.
