CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) -- Clearfield High students raised $9,000 to help a local family with quadruplets.
At first, the students had hoped to raise about $5,000 for the Montoya family of Layton. Their quadruplets were born Oct. 1.
The money was raised several ways: An assistant principal shaved his head, two coaches boxed with oversized gloves and several school officials agreed to have their legs waxed.
The money was presented to Amy and Jared Montoya at an assembly on Friday. It will be used by the family to cover their expenses.
