PROVO — Two Texas men believed to have participated in an ATM robbery in Provo in 2021 are now facing criminal charges.

Bryan Anthony Oliver, 34, of Manvel, Texas, and Cornelius Holloway, 32, of Houston, were charged Monday in 4th District Court with theft, vehicle theft and criminal mischief, first-degree felonies; and burglary, a second-degree felony. All charges come with gang penalty enhancements if convicted.

About 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 16, 2021, "four suspects used a pickup truck and a chain to rip the cover off an ATM at the Bank of Utah" in Provo, according to charging documents. More than $18,000 in cash was taken and the incident resulted in over $5,000 in damages to the machine.

The pickup truck used to break open the ATM was found abandoned nearby and was determined to have been recently stolen, according to the charges.

Detectives also responded to another location where "$1,520 in $20 bills, burglary tools, masks, gloves and clothing matching items that ATM surveillance video showed" were found on the road, the charges state. The FBI collected DNA from the recovered items and identified Oliver and Holloway as two of the suspects.

Both men "reside in Texas and are known to be members of the Hyrum Clark Money Team gang" and are suspects in similar thefts in Provo, Brigham City and eight other states, according to the charges.
