WASHINGTON, Washington County — A 31-year-old southern Utah man is facing 30 felony charges accusing him of having an illegal relationship with a teenage girl.

Javis Roderick Jeff, of Washington, was charged Monday in 5th District Court with 20 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, a first-degree felony, and 10 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 16-year-old, a third-degree felony.

Jeff and the teen girl were co-workers, according to a police booking affidavit.

"Javis has direct knowledge of the age of the victim, being well aware that she was initially 15 years old at the time their sexual relationship began and had even celebrated her 16th birthday with her," the affidavit alleges.

Investigators reported discovering more than 20 sexually explicit pictures and videos of the teen on Jeff's phone.
