DURHAM, N.C. — Reigan Richardson scored 13 of her 23 points in the third quarter to help No. 16 Duke beat eighth-ranked rival North Carolina 68-53. Freshman Toby Fournier added 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Blue Devils. Freshman Lanie Grant had 17 points for the Tar Heels. UNC was the nation's only unbeaten road team at 9-0 before Thursday. The Tar Heels had won seven straight and 12 of 13. UNC played without starters Alyssa Ustby and Reniya Kelly. Duke took control with an 11-0 run to end the third period. UNC committed 10 third-quarter turnovers.
