WASHINGTON — Led by George Beale's 28 points off the bench, the Hampton Pirates defeated the Howard Bison 80-79 in overtime. Hampton scored eight points in the final minute of overtime and it was Wayne Bristol Jr.'s four-point play that gave them an 80-79 lead with eight seconds left in the extra period. Blake Harper scored 35 points for Howard. The Pirates are now 11-12 with the win and the Bison fell to 8-13.
