Vanderbilt is finding that success in men's college basketball these days is costly. As in, the Commodores have racked up $750,000 in fines for a pair of court-stormings after wins over No. 6 Tennessee and No. 9 Kentucky. That seems to be just fine with new coach Mark Byington, who envisioned just such celebrations taking place one day. The Commodores crashed the AP Top 25 on Monday for the first time since Dec. 7, 2015. They get a slight reprieve from what has been the toughest league in the country before traveling to SEC newcomer Oklahoma on Saturday.
