RIVERTON — Bangerter Highway was closed in both directions at 13400 South for multiple hours Friday after construction crews working on an interchange project hit a 6-inch gas line.
John Gleason, a spokesman for the Utah Department of Transportation, said northbound highway traffic was closed at 2700 West and southbound traffic was closed at 12600 West with no backup.
The highway reopened around 2 p.m.
