KENNESAW, Ga. — Led by Simeon Cottle's 28 points, the Kennesaw State Owls defeated the Jacksonville State Gamecocks 83-71 in the Conference USA opener for both teams. The Owls are now 9-5 on the season, while the Gamecocks dropped to 8-6.
