What starts in Vegas, may not stay in Vegas this weekend as snow and ice prepare to blanket all corners of Utah.
From Salt Lake down to Sin City, the icy spine of I-15 could be treacherous as fans head south for the BYU-Arizona showdown on Saturday.
Utah Department of Transportation spokesman Nile Easton says watch out for glazed passes near Beaver and Cedar City. "We'll see, you know, thousands and thousands of cars going down there often. A couple years ago, I think when Utah went down to the Fiesta Bowl, we had something like 20,000 extra cars that weekend," he said.
Easton says UDOT has at least 100 plows up and down I-15. But if you get stuck, you better have extra blankets and water.
