HONOLULU — Led by Tanner Christensen's 20 points, the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors defeated the San Jose State Spartans 80-69 at the Rainbow Classic. Tom Beattie scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting for Hawaii. Donavan Yap led the San Jose State with 16 points and three steals. The Rainbow Warriors moved to 2-0 with the win and the Spartans fell to 0-3.
