BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — Tyler Ridell threw four touchdown passes, Quasean Holmes and Edward Saydee both ran for more than 100 yards with a touchdown and Gardner-Webb held off Lindenwood 42-35. Holmes, who had 156 yards on 26 carries, scored on a 17-yard run late in the third quarter to put the Runnin' Bulldogs on top 42-21. The Lions rallied and made it a one-score game on a 23-yard pass from Nate Glantz to Drew Krobath with a half-minute left. Jordan Bly, who had two touchdown receptions, recovered the onside kick attempt to seal the win. Ridell was 16-of-21 passing for 185 yards. Saydee had a 13-yard TD run and finished with 116 yards on 15 carries. Glantz was 12 of 27 for 244 yards and three scores.
