TAYLORSVILLE — A man was killed in a scooter accident at Salt Lake Community College Wednesday night.

The man had been riding an electric scooter when he ran into a light pole on the west side of the SLCC campus, near 4600 S. 2200 West, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cameron Roden said.

The scooter rider was the only person involved in the accident and died from his injuries. His name was not immediately released.
