LONG VALLEY JUNCTION, Kane County — Police have identified a man killed in a semitruck rollover in Kane County Monday afternoon.

A semitruck was traveling east on state Route 14 about 4 miles west of Long Valley Junction at around 3:15 p.m. Monday. The Utah Highway Patrol said the truck driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer in the road, went off the road to the right and rolled, ending up on its top.

The driver received minor injuries, but the passenger, Sammy White, 39, of Ogden, died in the crash, UHP Lt. Cameron Roden said.
