HOOPER, Weber County — A man riding his bike was hit by a car Friday morning in Weber County.

A 62-year-old man was heading east on 4000 South when he was hit from behind by an SUV near 5100 West just before 8 a.m., the Weber County Sheriff's Office said. The bicyclist was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the SUV is cooperating with the investigation, sheriff's deputies said.
