TCU is playing its home opener and the only game on its schedule this season that is not against Power Four opponent when it hosts LIU on Saturday night. The Frogs opened on the road with a 34-27 win at Stanford, the former Pac-12 team that is now in the ACC. The LIU Sharks, sixth-year FCS team, have twice before played Big 12 teams. They lost 30-7 at Baylor last year and 66-0 at West Virginia in 2021. TCU quarterback Josh Hoover has thrown for over 300 yards in six of his first seven starts.
