BOSTON — Zac Gallen pitched six innings of two-hit ball and Eugenio Suárez hit a two-run double off the Green Monster to help the Diamondbacks beat the Boston Red Sox 4-1. It was Arizona's fifth straight victory. Gallen struck out nine and walked four. He took a no-hitter into the fifth before Connor Wong dropped a single into right field. The Diamondbacks have won 23 of their last 29 games to take hold of the top NL wild-card spot.
