MARSEILLE, France — Valentin Bontus of Austria has taken gold after winning two finals races in men's kitesurfing which is the new, fastest sport at the Summer Olympics. Friday's medals bring to a close sailing competitions in Marseille. Toni Vodisek of Slovenia got silver while 17-year-old Max Maeder of Singapore won bronze in finals that had been repeatedly postponed because the breeze was too light. It was the country's first sailing medal in history.
