NANTERRE, France — Hours after winning a pair of gold medals, French star Léon Marchand was back in the pool in front of his adoring fans. The local hero of the Paris Games won the 200-meter butterfly and 200 breaststroke Wednesday night, the races just two hours apart. Marchand was back in the pool Thursday morning for the preliminary heats of the 200 individual medley. Of course, he advanced easily.
