PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane opened training camp by firing back at an anonymous critic of quarterback Josh Allen. ESPN quoted an unnamed NFL executive who described Allen as "one of the more overrated players in the NFL." Beane called the comment ignorant and said Allen is more underrated than over. Allen threw for 29 touchdowns and rushed for 15 more last season, and he should be the least of the Bills' concerns. The roster underwent an offseason purge because of the salary cap. Allen has only one returning wide receiver who's ever caught a pass from him.
