DRAPER — One person was injured while hang gliding in Draper on Friday.

A man was hang gliding Friday afternoon at Point of the Mountain when he lost altitude and crashed into the side of the hill by the east side of the gravel pit, Draper police said.

The man was taken via ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Further details on what caused the man to lose altitude were not immediately available.
