SANDY — Police are searching for shooters who they say fired at another car while fleeing an alleged robbery in a parking lot near the Shops at South Town in Sandy on Monday.

Officers said the robbers began fleeing the parking lot, and the victims of the robbery followed after them. At one point during the chase, someone began firing at the pursuing vehicle, police said. The car in pursuit eventually crashed, though police didn't say why.

There were no reported injuries. Police said the robbers are still at large, but did not provide a description of their vehicle.
