Matt Rempe fought seconds into his first NHL shift. New York Rangers fans chant his name whether he's playing or not. The 6-foot-8 forward was a central figure in a rare line brawl. And at 21 he has become a modern-day cult hockey hero. Rempe has taken part in five fights through his first 15 games in the top league in the world and been levied a suspension for a hit to the head, a relic of the sport's past who will quickly need to figure out how to balance the pugilism and physicality with playing well enough to stay on the ice.
