(KSL News) -- Mayor Rocky Anderson wants people to leave their cars at home tomorrow.
Anderson is promotoing "World Car-Free Day", when people all over the planet are asked to try public transportation.
The University of Utah is also supporting the effort, asking students and faculty to find alternative ways to campus.
UTA is ptiching in took offering free passes to those who haven't used the bus or Trax lines in the past.
