(KSL News) -- The Mayor of Eagle Mountain has demanded city council members to turn over their laptops so they can be checked for pornography.
Mayor Brian Olsen made the request at last night's city council meeting, saying it is part of a sweep of all city owned computers.
Two council members refused to turn over their laptops, saying the mayor is acting outside of his authority because they are not his employees.
They also said Olsen made the request in order to divert attention from recent budget disagreements between his office and the council.
