BOONE, N.C. — Led by Donovan Gregory's 24 points, the Appalachian State Mountaineers defeated the Toledo Rockets 109-104 in double overtime. Dante Maddox Jr. scored 25 points for Toledo. The Mountaineers moved to 20-5 with the win and the Rockets dropped to 15-9.
