Freshman Rob Dillingham of No. 17 Kentucky is The Associated Press national college basketball player of the week after putting up strong numbers in two losses. The 6-foot-3 guard had 20 points, four rebounds and four assists in an overtime loss to Florida. Then he had a season-high 35 points on 14-for-20 shooting with six 3-pointers in a loss to No. 6 Tennessee. The 35 points were the fourth-highest output by a Wildcats freshman in the John Calipari era. The runner-up is Xavier's Quincy Olivari, who had 43 points against DePaul for the highest output in Division I last week.
